Kang Wrestlers to Represent at State!

Kangs Boys and Girls Wrestlers are competing at the Mat Classic XXXVI – State Boys & Girls Wrestling Championships.

The girls’ team placed 6th out of 17 teams with only 7 Kangs competing!

The following wrestlers are representing LWHS at the state tournament:

Girls:

Valentina Aguiar (placed 1st at KingCo)

Klara Shimmel (placed 2nd at KingCo)

Neelai Perez (placed 3rd at KingCo)

Mia Huisman (Placed 4th at KingCo)

Paulina B. (Placed 6th at KingCo)

Dara Brooling also qualified

Boys:

Kevin Herrejon ( placed 1st at KingCo & is the second LW wrestler to be a 3-time KingCo Champion)

Aiden Chavez (placed 2nd at KingCo)

Anthony Zimmardi (placed 3rd at KingCo)

Mateo Irias (placed 3rd at KingCo)

James Rose (placed 5th at KingCo)

Beckett Shumaker (placed 7th at KingCo)

Alex Ball – Alternate (placed 8th at KingCo)

8:00 am – Doors open to Public
9:00 am – Wrestling Begins
○ Bouts 1-896 – 3A Boys estimated end 7:26 pm
○ Bouts 1-728 – 3A Girls estimated end 7:11 pm
○ Bouts 1-728 – 4A Boys estimated end 7:11 pm
○ Bouts 1-728 – 4A Girls estimated end 7:11 pm
